ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS
For our architects and engineers, we provide a system for tracking all filings that allow us to keep you informed of your current applications with the city. Our services include completion of all forms, reviews of drawings before filing, submission of all filings with the Department of Buildings and meeting with Plan Examiners to obtain Approvals.
Our Contractor services include: updating insurances, obtaining registration numbers at the required agency, emailing copies of permits as soon as available for posting, follow up with calls to remind clients about permit renewal dates. As a convenience, we pre-pay basic city fees for our customers to avoid delays in provisioning work permits. These fees are later included in your final billing invoice.
We guide property managers/homeowners through the filing and permit process. Before we begin working on the job, we provide an estimated timeline for completion, a breakdown of all costs and we manage all the steps to deliver the job on schedule.
Property managers/homeowners should be aware that to:
Obtain a Filing and Approval: You will need
a Licensed Architect or Engineer to draft, sign and seal plans/forms
an Expediter to complete all forms and file with the City to obtain approval
an Asbestos Inspector to inspect and submit a report
to pay City Fees determined by your project cost
an Approval from other City agencies if required (e.g., Landmarks)
Obtain a Work Permit: You will need
a licensed contractor/Plumber to complete a PW-2 work permit application
to submit for a work permit (General Construction, Mechanical, Plumbing)
Obtain a Letter of Completion:
The expediter will submit completed paperwork to acquire a Letter of Completion/sign off at the end of your project.
